Kiddie AU
Aya and Dilan had been dating for a bit over a month. During that time, Braig quietly put his affairs in order, so to speak.
Oh, not in the wills and death kind of way, but rather in the way that he broke up with the girlfriends as Dilan did (which raised no eyebrows, that was the way it had always been after all), and in the way that he started, and abandoned, a million different ways to approach the other two. Aya first, he knew that much. Dilan was, after all, polyamourous and more likely to follow the other two just because that was what he'd always done. Aya - Aya was monogamous and it could bring this whole house of cards tumbling down.
A house of cards that Braig had spent the majority of his life building, step by step and moment by moment. He'd known what he wanted since he was eleven years old, from the time that Aya shrieked Lions! in her little girl's voice, and Dilan paffed into the dust behind her.
It just took another twenty years for the two of them to start getting the idea...but...they might not want him.
Oh, Fire and Ice, they might not want him.

Several times, and eventually pinch his nose shut until he woke up, "Hnrgh?"

There was some melting going on there.

...
Good to know it looked as good from the outside as it felt from the inside?
And the lack of frothy rage was good too.
Klimek, they were actually going to try this.
What did she do if it fell apart?
What did she do if it didn't?
For now, well, she was just going to give a happy little sigh and keep watching. And strangle them both later for having such an easier time with the whole thing.

Braig was the one who said, "So. Barbeque for the family, or as a date?"

Gaze back to Braig, amused and...blushing. Definitely blushing. "Um. Us. Us three?"
no subject
"Us is good. Want me to bring some flicks, too?"
no subject
..."How annoyed are they going to be that you can teleport now Braig?"

Dilan was quiet, thinking about things, "I can move stuff around on both of our schedules to let us spend the night. Plenty of time to eat, talk, and watch videos, then go back the next evening."
no subject
"Videos then. And someone mentioned deer?"
no subject
"I'll, like, get the sauce ready before Dilan gets back."

Dilan paused to watch, eyes going wide with what could only be described as shocked glee. That? Was hot.

She hadn't forgotten Dilan though! She waved at him! She had...no context to add to the wave!

Elcy and Yinsi were conspicuous only by their absence.

Eh.
Too distracted to care right now. Getting carried upstairs ended up making her giggle though, since she was still in Braig's lap...in Dilan's arm...giggles led to hiccups, then to more giggles. "Not a lush."
