Kiddie AU - The Proposal

Pierce, Danny, and Ben were in another cabin, about a mile down the beach from where the three lovers were staying...with orders to call before coming over or face the potentially naked consequences.

When they'd gotten there Braig had cornered Pierce and gotten the two jewellery boxes from him. After that it was only a question of finding the perfect moment.

One where they were alone...with the sun coming down and setting fire to the ocean. One where they were all quiet and content.

A little bit like now.

In answer she just leaned up to kiss him properly because, yes, wow. "You spoil us love." So very much. So very, very much.

"We're getting married." he pointed out, "That's a huge thing."

"Yes, we are, isn't it about damn time?" She grinned and gave him one more kiss before starting to brush his chest. "The whole town has been expecting it since we were kids after all. You'd have thought we'd clue in sooner..."

"Yes!" Braig called from behind her, "We've waited long enough and then some!"

Dilan grinned, "It'll be wonderful. Many, many a bet will finally come to fruition!"

"Maybe we should have some kind of quiet wedding just for us then a big to-do for everyone else? You know there will be...a lot of noise." Aya paused a moment to lean back against Braig, smiling happily, before continuing to brush Dilan. They really had gotten a lot of sand on him hadn't they?

"Though we could just have a series of never ending parties, given how the clans will great us, then going home..."

"Mom would be really disappointed if we just have a small wedding." Braig said, "It'd probably be better just to go ahead and have the big one."

"True...then we get to run off for a honeymoon." There was that at least! "Hopefully hanging out with the clans will help re-acclimate us to crowds."

"We could honeymoon in Spain." Dilan suggested, "We haven't been there in years."

"Ohhhhh, that idea has merit. Enough warmth for you, enough slow, lazy days for Braig..." And both her boys outlined against a Spanish sunset on a balcony. She could certainly live with that! "We could go dancing, you remember how there were those little pockets of music all over the place..."

"The Spanish food!" Braig agreed, "I think that's a good idea, too. We'd have fun, and it'd be different from our normal outings."

"Lets call it a plan, then."

"The sunsets and the breezes..." Aya laughed and knelt so she could brush Dilan's legs. "I like our plans. Take the brush away from Braig love? He needs brushing too!"

Dilan pried the brush out of Braig's hands and started gently brushing him out, getting as much sand as possible off him, "We'll all need to wash our hair, of course, but that can bee after supper."

"Yeah, we'll eat, then baths." Aya agreed. "And I need to call for the car tomorrow before it gets too late. Remind me if I forget!" And she might, after all she was surrounded by boys and that was a very distracting thing!

"Shower for me." Dilan said, "A bath'll just make me float in a collection of sand that will get stuck in my body-hair all over again."

"Mmmmmph." Braig said. He was busy being brushed, you see.

"Shower then join us in the bath?" Aya asked, looking up at him with big, pleading eyes. "Showers all around then a nice, long soak?"

"I think that's a good plan." Dilan offered, "Braig probably agrees, although right now he'd agree to anything we said."

"Oh, yes, suggestible Braig..." Aya chuckled and teased fingers up the back of Braig's thigh because she could. "Whatever should we do with him? Make him sign an insane life insurance policy then devise villainous schemes?"

"Nah." Dilan said, "We should make him do the laundry."

"Oh, you are cruel lover." Aya laughed and teased fingers up Dilan's thigh next. "I was just going to come up with elaborate schemes, but laundry?!"

Dilan shivered, "MMmmmm. Aya, you're going to make dinner burn." because he was going to jump her. Again.

"Fine...I'll behave," she hummed happily and finished brushing Dilan's legs. "But you have to admit you're very, very tempting from this angle..."

"No I don't, sweetie." Dilan said wryly, "I find myself completely un-tempting. You, however, I find tempting indeed."

"...right. Sorry!" She giggled and licked his knee before standing up. "Pass me the Braig puddle and you can check the food?"

Dilan pushed Braig over into Aya's arms and handed her the brush before turning back to the stove, "Hmmm. Another five minutes or so."

Aya took the puddle of lover gently and settled into brushing again. "Want us to set table? If I stop brushing now and give him a good pinch he may wake up by the time food's done..." Aya chuckled and kissed Braig's cheek.
