Terren Apples - Kiddie AU

Braig was out of the room when Dilan peeked back in, finally. He grabbed the bag, which over the course of packing had taken on capital letters; The Bag. It had the G-strings with their fake fig leaves, the apples, Aya's clear bra, and the container that held one comfortably dozing snake.

Dilan had checked, it was fine to keep the snake curled up in there for the couple of hours it had taken...and he'd checked on it every time they stopped. Still a very large snake. Very large. He poked the remaining lump in the bed, "Aya! He's out!"

He dropped her share of stuff on the bed and started stripping with absolutely no regard for modesty. Not that he'd ever had any. The usual array of noises that occurred after every waxing were made, along with giggles. (Manly giggles.)

"Oh boo-hoo. You can be uber country secrets and you're whining about losing some time." Pierce was NOT sympathetic. "Are you telling me that you can't actually schedule around some tests?! Where did the geniuses I know go?"

Mmmm, chickens.

Braig sighed, "Dude...when we graduate we're gonna be, like. Slammed into a lifetime of having our lives scheduled around other people's needs. Can you really blame us for wanting to live for a while first?"

Hmmm, thinking face, thinking face..."Yep!" See, not a hard one that! "That is kind of what being a student entails. As geniuses, guys, you will have a lot more freedom once you're promoted and can hire your own peons. Buck up, I'm not helping calibrate one of the bitchiest pieces of equipment in the world so you can WHINE." Jerks.

Aya...just laughed. So hard.

Braig shrugged and shook his head, "Gonna have to, like, agree to disagree."

Dilan leaned over until his head was on Aya's knee and opened his mouth. Feed him, he's cute?

"I guess so. Still, it'll be nice to tinker with a Toska anyway. Thanks for the opportunity guys." Pierce was a geek. His love was easy to buy!

And Aya was happy to let Dilan chew on her chicken bones? It was eating the whole chicken! It was awesome! And, well, then she'd switch to his pizza.

Crunchy, crunchy bones. Dilan was so ignoring the older guys at this point.

"Dude. If you really want to tinker with things you should ask Dilan about the set-up he's got going with his computer."

"Touch and die, halfsie."

Aya was generally in the ignore phase too. It was fun to feed Dilan!

Pierce snorted. "I know better. I like all my fingers thank you!" Really, he was fond of all ten! No favorites! "Besides, it's a lot more fun to poke through things that others around you don't understand!"

Dilan did like being fed, yes.

"Heh. Maybe the two of you should, like, build something together. Oh, hey, tell Dilan about the web crawler thingy."

"...Web crawler thingy. Braig, we gotta teach you terminology."

"It works."

Pierce was...not looking at the happy pair on the floor. Really, how did he miss that? HOW?! They were like...a neophyte trio already. Creepy that he could miss it. "Ah, yeah, web crawler thingy for the programming impaired." Pierce snorted and waved a hand.

"So, like, there's really creepy fan sites out there for all three of you. I've been nuking them as I find them but we should write a web crawl program to seek them out and melt them."

Braig looked at Pierce and grinned a little. Yeah.

"Dude. Yeah, we should. Send me an e-mail with what you've already got," Pierce already has something, that's a given, "and I'll see if I can add anything to it." Because Dilan is smarter than Pierce, but Pierce is a specialist. Dilan understands that Pierce does know more than him about many computer things and almost all security related things. It's damn possible that he won't be able to add a thing to Pierce's program...and he doesn't mind that.

Messed up dude. Messed. Up. Poor Braig. OH LOOK TIME TO EAT ANOTHER SLICE OF PIZZA!

"Oh, yeah, sure. I've been poking at things ta home but the real idea only came to me tonight so there isn't much to share yet. It's the parameters of the engine that will be the biggest issue I think, because there are also sites that just keep track of you guys in an 'up and coming geniuses' kinda way you know?"

"Yeah." Dilan said, thinking and tapping his fingers against his thigh as he did so. Tomato sauce is fruit sauce, after all. "Hmmm. I'll think about that, see if I can help. Although if the words nude or naked show up it's a good bet that it should be nuked."

"Well, yeah, that's the easy shit." Pierce snorted. Really Dilan, he KNEW that part! "It's the subtle ones you have to catch without nuking good sites. And I tend to shut down anything about Aya on general principals because she really doesn't want to deal with it, plus being underage and all."

Aya blinked and chewed on her last chicken wing. "Huh. Thanks? I guess?" Weird.

Dilan grinned without looking up at the snort. "I know. Although, honestly, I wouldn't be too broken up if there were nothing on me. As many seem to be about the freakishness of my existence as are about the freakishness of my brain."

"I'm good with whatever." Braig added, after kicking Dilan in the ribs for calling himself a freak.

"Yeah, but a lot of katzu sites keep track of you too, and that's important." Pierce countered easily. It tied into the whole 'possible hope of a new clan' thing. There weren't many katzu sites, granted, but there were enough to be a valid argument.

And Aya was frowning down at the katzu in her lap and dangling the last chicken bones. "You and your brain are awesome. Repeat."

"Yeah." From the morose tone, Dilan was expecting that. Still didn't mean he was happy about it. "Me and my brain are awesome gimme-the-bones!"

"Dude, don't worry. I've managed far greater feats!" Pierce grinned and shot him a thumbs up for confidence!

Aya snorted and gave him the bones. "Remember it kitten!"

Snap snap snap! Dilan lunged far enough up that he was able to lick her fingers clean before his head hit her thigh again. Crunch, crunch, crunch!

"...I never, ever get used to him moving like that." Braig admitted.

Aya DIDN'T jump! Nope. Sometimes she did but given she'd been dangling chicken bones she'd half expected it. "Awww, it isn't so bad!" Said the girl wiping her fingers on Dilan's shirt. "Just never forget that he moves like that right?" It was...cat logic.

"Totally won the halfsy lotto." Pierce muttered.

Dilan crunched for another minute, then pointed out, "Yeah, but you can use all the local painkillers. I get to suffer through it. Ask me about getting my leg set...or ask Aya."

"I try." Braig said, leaning over and tugging on a dreadlock, "But somehow it still shocks me."

"Braig got bitten, and there was a lot of screaming." Aya nodded, petting Dilan's hair. "A lot of screaming." Bad times all around really.

"Well, yeah, there's that but I'm not in the habit of getting broken." Pierce shrugged.

"Neither am I." Dilan said, with a sigh, "But I can't take most headache meds, either. Every one of my headaches has to be suffered through, 'cause the paracetamol doesn't do jack."

Braig added, "And we hate it."

"Yep, a lot. We're considering chloroform." Aya noted, using one of Dilan's dreads to tickle his nose.

Pierce chuckled, amused. "Yeah, well, you follow Braig around so you probably court getting broken more than I do."

"There's that, too." Dilan agreed, wrinkling his nose and huffing at Aya. Without actually moving.

"Heeeyyyyyyy..." but Braig laughed even as he said it.

Tickle tickle tickle! Hah! What? She didn't have a dangle toy handy...

"Dude, you're like a walking hazard zone!" Pierce waved at his friend up on the bed and grinned. "I'm just amazed you are actually, like twenty-four."
