Aya AU

The bar brawl was magnificent. It spread from the original bar (Dilan isn't sure which one that was) to three or four others, going in and out of them into something not quite a riot but not exactly not. Dilan got involved in the second bar on the trip, but managed to hold his own until the cops got there.

And he very politely sat down with his hands behind his head waiting for them to get around to him. Someone with that much facial metal (eyebrow, lip, nose), that hair, and that size tends to ping the combatant radar of everyone. Ever.

"It's true!" Dilan insists. He does start looking for a flat patch of ground to set her down on, though. Wouldn't want to push it.

"I'll take your word for it." she admitted easily. He'd be in a better position to know? She decided to kill time by tracing a finger over various lines of his throat, as seen from the side.

What else was she suppose to do?

He shivers at the touch and makes another happy kitty sound. She may never get set down if she keeps doing that.

Well, her plan had been to stop for a moment rather than abandon him, so she chuckled softly at the sound. He made such amusing noises! Really startling, soft noises from such a big man but...amusing. Yep, she was going to keep teasing his throat.

They are now spinning in slow circles because. Yum.

...whoa. She couldn't help but giggle because, well, they'd lost directional sensors? Spinning, slowly, in circles seemed a safe enough situation, so she shifted forward enough to kiss his neck softly.

"Prrrp!" Dilan says firmly.

Well, it wasn't a shout of surprise or outrage, though the vibrations felt really funny under her lips...

Well enough. As long as he didn't mind she was going to work her way back up to his lips. It seemed the thing to do.

No, no. He's good. He's really good. Mmmmm. Dilan's lips are very soft against hers and he slowly lowers her, although he doesn't stop kissing.

She actually clung for a moment in sheer reaction, until she figured out he was lowering her on purpose. That she could handle! Here hands slid from his shoulders to cup the back of his head as the kissing continued...and she was on the edge of her skates the moment her feet hit the ground just to make sure it all continued for a few moments.

"You are so beautiful."

She wasn't sure if it was sheer shock or pleasure at the compliment that caused her brain to freeze for a moment. Probably shock given the look on her face. Just...Jesus Christ...

First thing that came to mind?

"Look who's talking"

"A tall hairy man with funny ears."

It is true.

That made her laugh, sinking back down on her skates to just lean against his chest as she caught her breath. "One of the most attractive men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, much less dating." she corrected.

"I like your ears."

"I'm glad." Dilan says, running his hands along her back, "I'm very glad."

"Yeah, glad is a really good word right now." she admitted, letting her arms creep around his waist. Hey, she liked back rubs, even light, almost ticklish ones...

He grins again, not wanting to break the moment.

Which left it up to Aya to break the moment huh? She lingered for...she really didn't know how long really. Just registering small details to review later, but eventually she lifted her head to look at him once more "I may have to revise my opinion of being carried."

"Told you so." Dilan says cheerfully.

"I said 'may' not 'will'" she teased easily. "Hardly seems right to change my mind about everything with just one occurrence. I might just stick with 'Dilan is an exception'."

Dilan snorts, "Pshaw. Just because your ex's have been wussy doesn't make me an exception."

"An exception to the 'There should be a logical reason to be carried' rule." she stuck her tongue out at him. "And I think you have to have more than one date with a person to have 'ex's'. That hasn't happened recently..." she mused cheerfully.

"Complete wusses." Dilan says firmly.

"Hey, it's New York." she teased, finally eeling sideways to lean against his side and eye the path "Quantity over quality."

"And most non-wuss types don't really like dating a girl who can put them into the mats half the time. It's a delicate thing, ego..."

"Meh." Dilan says, "I'm not a wuss, and I don't care."
