Kiddie AU - The Proposal

Pierce, Danny, and Ben were in another cabin, about a mile down the beach from where the three lovers were staying...with orders to call before coming over or face the potentially naked consequences.

When they'd gotten there Braig had cornered Pierce and gotten the two jewellery boxes from him. After that it was only a question of finding the perfect moment.

One where they were alone...with the sun coming down and setting fire to the ocean. One where they were all quiet and content.

A little bit like now.

Braig twitched and flailed when she tugged on his ear, yelping somewhat! Tweaks could easily get painful!

Oh, oh, that was not her intention! She slipped her arms around Braig in apology and pressed kisses to his poor, abused ear. "Forgive me?" If he did not she would leave the game and turn the evening entirely over to earning redemption! She would!

"Of course, babe." Braig said, leaning into her arms, "I know you didn't mean it."

Dilan checked to make sure they were both all right before going back to the game.

She nodded against his neck, relieved at those words, then pinched his ass comfortably. "Alright, Dilan's on the move again. Later lover." And she dove in (hopefully) the opposite direction that he was headed!

Dilan managed, if only barely, to get a hand on Aya's calf before she got out of the way and immediately turned to swim in another direction. He knew, though, that he was going to spend the most time "it". He always did in the water.

Then it was up to Aya to snag a Braig wasn't it? She set her mind to chasing him down with sure strokes and a stamina that she had been rebuilding since they could start swimming again.

And perhaps the tag after the game could migrate from sea to land as one or the other of them was chased up onto the moonlit beach. They were adaptable after all.

Braig did take it up onto the beach, in the sand everyone was on equal footing more or less. Dilan's longer legs were balanced by his deeper impression into the sand itself. Once tagged, Braig went after Dilan again. Dilan was fun to tag.

Aya stayed on the wet edges of the beach, where the sand was a touch firmer underfoot and she could watch the boys in case there was a tag and she had to take off. That 'ready to run' mindset didn't stop the goofy smile though. Not in the least.

Those were her fiances chasing each other across the sands, naked. It was glorious to watch!

Dilan, upon noticing where Aya was staying, ran directly towards her. Even if Braig meant to tag Dilan...if Aya was staying still she'd be too tempting a target to ignore!

Oh the dork! The moment Aya realized Dilan's intent she yelped and pelted off in a random direction because she was being chased...by someone being chased! "DORK!" She knew better than to look back. NEVER LOOK BACK!

At the last Dilan changed his chase into a tackle, rolling the two of them over and over in the sand. Braig went with it, tackling the tackle pile and happily chewing on whatever bit of lover came into reach.

ACK FLAIL!

Not that flailing was that effective with two lovers tackling and the momentum they'd already had going. And there was always the adrenaline of having been tackled by a predator she was running from. Even when that predator was Dilan, her hindbrain gave her a good dose of shivery adrenaline anyway! That meant when felt teeth on her she snapped back and growled!

Dilan gasped, not displeased, when she bit him in reaction to being bit by Braig. "If it weren't for the possibility of sand in uncomfortable places this could get quite interesting." He noted.

Braig laughed out loud, "Yeahhh. Too bad reality wants to come and bug us. That was fun."

"You'd think..." AY amused, licking the spot she'd bitten, "that two genius beach bums like yourselves would have figured out how to get sand to behave by now." Still!

"Mmmm, tag. Nothing feels better than a game of tag sometimes. Better than simple running or swimming." She stretched, careful of the men, and smiled, enjoying the feel through her muscles.

"Not without a lot of magic." Braig said, "And that makes you uncomfortable, so it might as well be not at all."

"Running around like idiots? Yeah, it's fun." Dilan said, stroking her side gently.

"I know, I thinking something like a pre-tag prepping spray for the beach or us who knows?" Because why not come up with silly ideas? Her boys knew she didn't expect them to invent random things!

"And not like idiots," she corrected. "Running around like adults playing a game. Adults who get a rain check until they're rinsed and off the sands."

"No, no, I'm pretty sure that tackling you naked into the sand and rolling, getting it all over my body-hair, counts as idiot." Dilan pointed out.

"At least I've mostly avoided getting it on my scalp?" Braig said, "Although I'll still need a major brushing."

"Mmmm, so showers and brushings all around for my fiances." She nipped Dilan again and grinned before trying to work out how to get up. "Getting tackled was a lot of fun, and I love brushing you both, therefore I can't really call you an idiot."

"You're too good to me." Dilan said in return, grinning like a moron.

Braig peeled himself off the ground and held a hand out for Aya, admiring the way her ring looked on her hand. "So glad you said yes." he murmured.

"No, I"m good enough, and bad enough when we want to be, to be worth marrying." So there!

"As if I could ever say no to you love." She held his hand gently and grinned. "Shall we go in?"

"Lets." Dilan pried himself off the ground last and batted at his body to try to get the worst of the sand off. "Tomorrow lets go looking for surfing things. And wax."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Braig said after he finished kissing Aya.

Aya kept ahold of Braig's hair after the kiss and grinned. Just...grinned. It was a good day even if Braig had sniped her proposal plans! "We should call our driver tonight then, see if they'll be able to take us out. And we'll actually have to get dressed tomorrow." Sad times.

Sad, sad times.

"Mmmm, surfing. Think we're up for it? I can't remember when last we surfed." It had been winter when they got called to Manhattan, and even in their home town it was a little too cold for surfing in winter.

"Too damn long." Braig opined, "We've got a year of not surfing to make up for. Good thing we've also got muscle salve and massage oil."

"Yeahhh." Dilan agreed slowly, "We're going to hurt, but it'll be good for us."

"Since we'll be out we miiiight want to pick up more salve and oil." Just maybe. "And if that get's depressing we'll all go bathing suit shopping." Who was she kidding? They'd have a blast going to a drug store if that's what they decided to do.

They were weird like that.

"I can't wait. I'll moan and whine after the tenth wipe out but it'll be awesome anyway."

"Good point, Ayay." Dilan agreed, "And lets go bathing suit shopping anyway...it'll be a treat!"

"I cannot wait to get you into sexy, sexy swimwear." Braig stated, "Both of you."
