"No problem, Dr. Brea." Mark says, smiling at her, "It's not healthy to come in every day except when your main man is sick. Make sure he eats something healthy, okay?"

"Who are you?" asks the stuffy guy.

"I can drag him out for food too." she agreed thoughtfully "Do you know if the cafe by Cliff Park is still open?" because she'd liked that place, and they tended to cook healthy.

"Dr. Brea, as Mark said."

"Yes. Would you like me to make a reservation for the two of you?" Mark is a good secretary. That's why Braig stole him away from a corporate CEO.

"And are you involved in the current projects?" If yes, she's going to get pinned with questions.

"No, I hate to have reservations when I'm likely to lose track of time." she admitted sheepishly "But thank you." she liked good secretaries! Mark was someone she was going to remember.

Unlike this guy. "I'm involved in several projects at the moment sir. Are you dying or undiagnosable? If so you can have my card."

He laughs and nods, "Fair enough. Have a good time, Dr. Brea."

His face tightens, "And you get to occupy Dr. Braig's time because...?"

"We'll do our best and I'll bring him back in one piece." she could pretty much promise that! Unless Braig took a head dive on purpose or something.

She arched an eyebrow at the jerk and crossed her legs primly as she finished her stretches "Because I'm cute? Besides, he's incredibly cute when he's persistent." of course 'unlike you' went unsaid.

"All I can ask." Mark says before getting back to work. He's paid obscenely well because he works obscenely hard.

"A date? He's blowing off an interview with Karna Medications for a simple date?!"

"An event, actually." Aya corrected "Ohhhh...Karna Medications?" she smiled, though it wasn't a pretty one, and stood to step closer to the man. She did have something she wanted to talk about with him!

"So glad I caught you. I'd like to discuss your new rhuematory medicine, Raxtan? I know you've read the medical reports I've sent your company of course, and the complaints a lot of us have filed with the board of health..." she'd gotten a lot of elderly cases recently with inexplicable internal hemorrhages. Not something in the side effects listed.

Braig heads out from the back in blue jeans, a tight T-shirt, and climbing acceptable shoes...but leans in the door so that Aya can have her moment.

"...What?" total. Blankness. He's not as high up as he thinks he is.

Aya spared an appreciative look at Braig before turning her attention back to the drug company peon "You aer willing to cooperate with an investigation right? I'm so lucky I ran into you! Getting your say-so now will make things a lot easier and probably save your company..." she knew he wasn't in a position to give her that permission...but it was fun to watch him squirm.

"That was what you were hear to talk about right? I know new drug development has to be halted when an investigation is pending."

Braig flexes, just a little, when she looks at him. Never bad to show off a little. He doesn't move into the room farther, though, this is her show.

"I...what? I'm not...I'm a salesman!"

The flexing got a small smile, but otherwise she was all business, face turning down in a worried, sorry expression "Oh...oh, you wouldn't know about all that then. Just forget about the internal bleeding thing okay? I'm sure you'll do fine."

"I!" she gets to watch a salesman wither and practically crawl out of the room.

"That was awesome." Braig says, smiling, "Dilan will be thrilled."

"You" she agreed neutrally as she watched salesman skitter off.

"Glad to be of help. I don't currently like that company." she admitted with a grin "You look ready to go, shall we?"

"I am ready." he says, grinning, "And you don't hate 'em as much as Dilan does. The Keztu are having even worse reactions than the rest of us."

She offered her arm jokingly and turned toward the door "That I believe. This drug is...nasty. I'm not sure how they pushed it through to the general market." she really wasn't. No other doctor was either, hence the investigation. "Let's get you a little destressed."

"Dilan is heading that." Braig admits, "Which is part of why he hadn't slept in a week. Even is getting things set in order, and Dilan will be back on his feet tomorrow. Lets go."

"It'll take awhile. Want either of us to kidnap him later to make sure he gets out again?" because with an entire species having bad reactions she could understand why he was in on a drug investigation. "Why was a salesman still trying to get to you guys anyway?"

"That'd be a good idea." Braig says slowly, nodding, "He's really pissed about all of this. I - don't know, honestly. I think he was supposed to try to drum up good PR."

"I'll talk to Maya, we can tag team. Grab you too if you're up for it." they could dance him into the ground, or movies and massage depending on the situation. "It's more than a little past the PR stage. Hey, when did they add the new walls to this park?"

"I don't know, babe." Braig admits, "Dilan just told me he wasn't talking to them, at all, ever and sent them to me. I'd love spending more time with both you and Maya, individually or together."

Then he looks at the walls and shrugs. He honestly doesn't know.

"Well, I have your number again...and Dilan's." she pointed out "Plus now I've been introduced to Mark and he'll probably tell me when you guys have reached critical stress points."

Damn, she needed to get out to the climbing park more often. "You know, it's not quite the back of the hospital...but the new walls are high enough to pass for now." she offered with a grin.

"Yeah." he grins, "And he will. Mark is a doll. His younger girl wants to be a pastry chef." Guess who takes shameless, shameless advantage of it. SHAMELESS. "And they totally are. Lets go!" words to action and he bounds over the wall.

"Hey, pastry chef is a great career!" she grinned. As one of the people happily keeping said chefs employed, well..."Hey!" that wasn't exactly a heads up. She chased after him as a matter of course, vaulting the wall and utterly ignoring the instructor on the other side who was passing out climbing ropes.

"So totally is." Braig agrees, grabbing a rope and launching himself at the wall.
