Braig was out of the room when Dilan peeked back in, finally. He grabbed the bag, which over the course of packing had taken on capital letters; The Bag. It had the G-strings with their fake fig leaves, the apples, Aya's clear bra, and the container that held one comfortably dozing snake.

Dilan had checked, it was fine to keep the snake curled up in there for the couple of hours it had taken...and he'd checked on it every time they stopped. Still a very large snake. Very large. He poked the remaining lump in the bed, "Aya! He's out!"

He dropped her share of stuff on the bed and started stripping with absolutely no regard for modesty. Not that he'd ever had any. The usual array of noises that occurred after every waxing were made, along with giggles. (Manly giggles.)

"...Yeah." Braig slid off the stool and then waaaaaaaaaaaaaaved. Waved and blinked.

"Whoop." Well then, this whole getting back to the hotel thing was going to be a bit more complicated than he thought. "Well...you're down there now. Um. Here, take my hand?"

"Dude." he got an insulted look. Braig was into Dilan, not gay, and he wasn't going to walk down the street holding Pierce's hand. The Ego couldn't take it.

"Dude. You're ON THE FLOOR. You need to get up, I'm offering you a hand to do so. Not asking you to marry me or something."

GRUMP. Braig stood up on his OWN, thankyouverymuch, and wobbled towards the door in a wavering kind of walk.

[mitochondriaaya]

"If you fall in front of a bus I am totally saying it was your own fault then booking it for Mexico." Pierce snorted and followed behind him, only slightly steadier.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Which way's the hotel?"

[mitochondriaaya]

"Ummm, we came here by taxi dude. Left I think?" That was where the bright lights of downtown were? What was the worst that could happen?

"Left it is, then." he staggered down the sidewalk, bouncing off of Pierce and walls now and then.

[mitochondriaaya]

He had rarely seen Braig so graceless. It was kind of awesome. In that weaving kinda way. "Dude, you're trashed."

"I am, like, beyond trashed. I am...garbaged. I am destroyed." wobble! "I am...lost."

[mitochondriaaya]

"We're on Fifth and Everest." He offered, peering up at the signs. "And yeah, maybe recycled? We could totally be green."

"Nah, I'm not that drunk." he mumbled, "Hotel's on...Tenth an' Magnolia."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Awww, don't you want a shiny new you with consumer applications?" He laughed and peered at the next sign. "Fourth. Okay, turn around!"

"No." Braig said, simply, "I am fuckin' awesome the way I am." he turned around and began staggering back the way they came. "Fuuuuuck. Call a cab. I have money."

Possibly not the brightest thing to say in public at this time of night.

[mitochondriaaya]

"And far too aware of it." He shook his head. "I'll flag the next one I see, I don't have the taxi on speed dial after all and I don't know if I can read the screen." He was an honest drunk!

And far too oblivious 3`to notice the shifting shadows in the nearby alley!

"Mmph." Braig, however, did notice. And straightened up as best he could. "Shadow in the alley."

[mitochondriaaya]

Straightening was always something Pierce noticed with Braig! "Huh, yeah? And shadows on the street, and shadows on the road..." and yep it gave him the excuse to wheel and watch the alley.

"So, what now?"

Braig grinned, loose and easy, "We keep walking and see if the night's gonna start looking up, dude."

[mitochondriaaya]

"You are sick. Sick and deranged." He shook his head, glanced up at the sky for patience, and staggered next to Braig. "What I said about the bus? Counts for this too if you die you know."

Yep, footsteps behind them!

"Yeah, yeah." he groused, turning to look at the owner of the footsteps.

It was a big guy, of COURSE it was a big guy, who was holding a knife like he knew what to do with it.

"Wallets."

[mitochondriaaya]

"Huh, well, of course." Pierce turned as well, fumbling at his pockets. "Dude, where did I leave mine? I know the moogle got paid..."

Pat, pat, grin. "Can't say no to the bobbles you know? You don't pay and they meld you with something weird..."

[sliceitwithwind]

Braig just...grinned...and stood up straight, "Naaaah. I don't think so. Y'know, it's one of those things where I just don't support thievery."

[mitochondriaaya]

"What he means to say is that he thinks you're an ugly mother you know? And you should get a respectable job doing something useful like boot shining or dancing at a club or something." Cause people were into the weirdest shit sometimes.

"And you smell."

[sliceitwithwind]

"Really smell." Braig agreed, half dancing on his toes as the big guy looked more and more angry,

"Gimme your fuckin' wallets!"
